This program aims to promote the exchange and communication between Chinese and American young students. From July to December 2024, 10 American young students and their leading teachers will be invited to visit the university for one week. Through exchange and study with students from the School of International Relations of our University, they will learn about the history and culture of Chengdu, Sichuan Province, enjoy the beautiful scenery and delicious food, and promote the young people of the two countries to know each other in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. To make American students understand China more three-dimensional and rich, avoid the image of China simple, simple, stereotyped. Schedule (Proposed) Day 1 Arrival in Chengdu, stay at Beiyuan Hotel Wangjiang campus guided tour in the evening, welcome to dinner Day 2 In the morning, welcome ceremony of the School of International Relations, introduction of Chinese and American students, visit the history Museum of Sichuan University Afternoon cultural visit: Jinli, Wuhou Temple, Du Fu Cottage Day 3 Morning keynote lecture: The History, Present and Future of China-Us Relations Afternoon Cultural visit: Chengdu Museum Day 4 Morning cultural visit: Chengdu Planning Museum Afternoon Cultural visit: Sichuan Provincial Museum Day 5 Morning keynote: Common Challenges of Mankind and Global Governance Afternoon theme exchange: Chinese and American Youth generation and the development of bilateral relations Day 6 Sports activities: Sino-US Youth Basketball Exchange Match Free time in the afternoon Day 7 Departure
