Description
The project A Journey of Cultural Exchange, as a Chinese culture learning experience project, is developed for students and teachers from the United States to stimulate their interest and enthusiasm in traditional Chinese culture and Chinese learning, as well as enhance exchange and friendship with Chinese students and teachers.
November 28th: Check-in
Day 1 (November 29th) Opening Ceremony, Ice-breaking Activities
* 10:00-11:30: Opening ceremony and welcome ceremony, introduce the project and schedule;
* 13:30-17:00: Ice-breaking activity —— Talent Show
Venue: College of Literature and Journalism, Sichuan University
Day 1 (November 30th) Bashu Culture Tour I
Visiting Chengdu Museum, Kuanzhai Alley, Wuhou Temple, Jinli to experience the history of Chengdu, Sichuan Opera and other traditional Bashu cultures.

Day 3 (December 1st) Bashu Culture Tour II
Visiting the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base and Du Fu Thatched Cottage

Day 4 (December 2nd) Chinese Culture Course I
* 09:30-11:30: Chinese culture course: Ancient poetry Appreciation and Translation;
* 13:30-16:30: Symposium: Comparative Study of Chinese and American Literature Classics.
Day 5 (December 3rd) Chinese Culture Course II
* 10:00-12:00: Chinese culture course: Overview of China;
* 13:30-16:30: paper-cutting, calligraphy art and tea art experience.
Day 6 (December 4th)
* All day: Basketball match between Chinese and American teachers and students
Day 7 (December 5th) Closing Ceremony
* 09:30-11:00: Closing ceremony and Certificate Issuing Ceremony;
* 11:00-12:00: group photo and souvenir exchanges
