Prospective applicants between the age of 18 and 50 who have graduated from high school are welcome. Applicants with HSK Certificate level 2 are preferred, with proper moral conduct, in good health with no infectious disease or any physical or mental diseases that may affect the normal study activities. Applicants need to cover the tuition fees, accommodation, dining, transportation expenses in China, as well as insurance expenses and round-trip airplane tickets by themselves.

Description
The Chinese Language Program at Ningbo University is open to international students who are passionate about the Chinese language. International students will engage in full-time Chinese language studies in International College.
Students are to be enrolled in classes that suit them best by taking a Chinese proficiency test. The spring semester lasts from early March to late June. The autumn semester lasts from early September to late January. A semester usually consists of 16 or 17 weeks with 16 class hours of language courses per week. Upon completion of the language course, students who meet the assessment requirements will be issued with a certificate of completion from International College, Ningbo University.
In addition to the coursework, the International College would also arrange cultural visits. Students can also participate in various activities according to their own interests, learn about the Chinese traditional culture and experience a vibrant campus life.
