Applicants must be undergraduate students enrolled at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), with a background in engineering and prior participation in the ENG100 course. Candidates should demonstrate exceptional academic performance and a genuine interest in contributing to the project. Preference will be given to individuals with outstanding personal backgrounds and a firm dedication to the project's objectives.

This project will provide each selected student with a $2800 grant, primarily intended to cover expenses incurred during the student's visit. The grant amount will be utilized for transportation costs, accommodation, meals, and other project-related expenses.

Description
The meeting between the leaders of China and the United States sets the direction for the relationship between the two countries in the new era, forming the forward-looking "San Francisco Vision." 2024 marks the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States, and exchanges and visits between Chinese and American youth will surely open a new chapter in the friendship between the two countries. This event aims to seize the opportunity of consensus reached at the meeting between the leaders of China and the United States, further leverage the advantages of international innovation resources, expand exchanges between Chinese and American youth, and serve the national strategy of opening up education to the outside world. As an important window for Zhejiang University's "Global Open Development Strategy," international campus will take this opportunity to grasp the connotation of the internationalization of higher education, lead with academics, enhance mutual learning between Eastern and Western civilizations, promote international exchanges and cooperation, and make greater contributions to the construction of international cooperation education demonstration zones, the development of world-class universities, and the construction of outstanding disciplines.
