Non-Chinese citizens holding valid foreign passports; applicants must be at least 18 years old; no restrictions on academic year; interested in Chinese language, culture, and classical humanities aesthetics; strong comprehensive abilities, with an interest in international development; willing to study or engage in exchanges in China; proficient in foreign languages, capable of adapting to English-medium instruction and second foreign language courses.
Program fee: CNY 6000 for 4 weeks ≈ USD 800
BIT scholarship for U.S. students.
Tips: Scholarship holder need to bear the expenses for international travel and meals during they study in China.

This program has been designed to expand your mind, inspire curiosity, and facilitate discovery.
Curriculum
Topics: Guqin Appreciation (Chinese plucked string instrument), Ikebana, Tea Ceremony, Incense Appreciation, Experience of Chinese Art and Literature, Stories Behind Chinese Characters, Appreciation of Chinese Poetry, Overview of Ancient Chinese Philosophy, Chinese Etiquette Culture, Chinese Science Fictions.
