The metaverse is an immersive cyberspace that integrates digital and physical worlds. It represents the future industry where artificial intelligence, blockchain, 5G, Internet of Things, virtual reality, and other next-generation information technologies are innovatively integrated and applied. It is an advanced form of integration between the digital economy and the physical economy, with vast space and enormous potential. Currently, the global metaverse industry is rapidly evolving, leading the next generation of internet development through the interaction between virtual and reality. It accelerates the upgrading of manufacturing industry towards high-end, intelligent, and greenization, supporting the construction of a modern industrial system. This project aims to introduce the development of China's research and application in the metaverse field, providing opportunities for undergraduate students from overseas to understand this area. By visiting electronic information, communication technology, and artificial intelligence-related research institutions and enterprises in the Wuhan area, students will have the opportunity to gain in-depth insights into China's innovation and development in these fields.
