Description
The "Jingchu Under the Lens" summer camp is developed based on the successful three sessions of the "Looking at China - Foreign Youth Influence Plan" Hubei Tour. In the past three years, more than 100 Chinese and foreign students have participated in the "China Hubei Tour" project. In 2023, Burmese student Wang Nannan and Tajik student Sadullah's films "Zhao Hongxiao" and "Six Mouth Tea" were nominated for the 11th Vancouver Chinese Film Festival.
The summer Camp "Jingchu Through the lens" aims to provide students with an immersive journey of Chinese culture experience. Through four weeks of enriching language and cultural foundation courses, photography courses, video-editing courses, and exciting cultural experience and filming activities, it helps students appreciate Chinese culture through their eyes, record it through the lens, and further understand Chinese culture. Students can experience the traditional breakfast culture of Hubei, listen to the authentic folk art Hubei drum, and also watch the modern stage art Han Show performance, visit Wuhan Bridge Technology, and fully and deeply experience the unique charm of Jingchu culture.
