1. Aged 17-24 (those under 18 must provide a letter of authorization from their legal guardian), in good health both physically and mentally, meeting the provisions of the Nationality Law of the People’s Republic of China, and currently holding a valid US passport with no criminal record;
2. Have a diploma of high school or equivalent and higher (current high school senior students can apply with previous exam transcript);
3. Average grades of high school should be above 60%;
4. 36-week program is applicable for beginners, for which the Chinese language proficiency is optional; HSK level 2-3 or equivalent is required for the 18-week program.

Description
This project is mainly aimed at non-Chinese learners for one academic year, including two regular teaching semesters, completing HSK0-4 teaching schedule, and organizing students to take part in the Chinese proficiency Test (HSK) mock examination and official examination.
Curriculum
The courses are mainly Chinese Listening and Speaking, Chinese Reading and Writing, along with some Chinese Culture Sections to make the Chinese learners quickly improve the proficiency of Chinese language, and to practice the skills of answering the questions in HSK test.
