The home institution will select applicants from its institution for the exchange. The host institution will reserve the right of making final judgment on the admissibility of each student nominated for the exchange. The following guidelines shall apply:
a. The exchange students must satisfy all admission requirements of the host institution. In UT1, all incoming students must provide an official language certificate (if the incoming students’ mother tongue is different from the targeted language).
b. The exchange students may register as full-time exchange students at the host institution. Any academic credit earned at the host institution may be transferred back to the home institution in accordance with procedures determined by the latter.
c. The exchange students must be registered for a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program at the home institution.
d. Upon completion of an exchange student’s studies at the host institution, the exchange students must return to the home institution. Any extension of stay must be approved by participating institutions.
e. The exchange students must abide by all rules and exam regulations of the host institution.
All exchange students must register and pay tuition and other required fees at the home institution. Each host institution will provide tuition fee waivers for the exchange students.
