‘Bridge to See’ Guizhou - connecting thousands of ravines by piercing mountains and spanning rivers, myriad bridges outline a hundred thousand mountains. Guizhou's bridges are not only the tallest among countless bridges in the world today but also the pioneering strides that help it transcend developmental obstacles and integrate into the global landscape. Overseas students studying at relevant institutions and international students studying in China who are not Chinese nationals (including junior college, undergraduate, and graduate students) are interested in learning about the social, economic, cultural, and educational developments in Guizhou Province, experiencing local educational characteristics, and engaging in exchanges with students from vocational colleges in Guizhou.
Applicants must:
-Be U.S. citizen;
-Be currently enrolled in the an undergraduate or graduate program of studies or equivalent institution towards the completion of a degree (minimum Bachelor’s level or equivalent);
-Have a good disciplinary and academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5;
-Have a strong sense of social responsibility ;
-Have demonstrated leadership capability or have served in a senior leadership position of a student-led organization/community/club;
-Be willing to facilitate bilateral relationships between U.S. and China and aim to act upon their shares of responsibilities to the world.
The program covers all costs that are related to this program in China, including accommodation, insurances in China, intercity transportation, etc. International flights, international travel insurances, any personal purchases or individual travel plans are subject to personal responsibilities and will not be covered by the program.
