CEAIE hosted Zhi-Xing China: Shanghai Discovery from January 27^th to 29^th which invited American and Chinese students to Shanghai for a three-day field trip of substantive themed site visits interspersed with discussions and group activities. With the attention given to sustainable development, urban planning, digitalization and technologies, the event took students to technological companies, community services center for elderly, historical sites, and museums, and encouraged students from both countries to work together for workable solutions for a more sustainable future through dialogue. 

The U.S.-China Youth Dialogue and student performances has brought the event to its climax. Students shared their findings and thoughts from their journeys with the Zhi-Xing China: Shanghai Discovery. “Come visit me in the U.S.,” as students saying making promises of seeing each other again in the future. The solid friendship made within the three days is enriching and long-lasting.
