In order to showcase the outcome "Young Envoys Scholarship" (YES program), newsletters are periodically compiled and released to share the latest activities. This is the first volume for the first quarter of 2024. American students coming through the YES program have had the opportunity to immerse themselves in Chinese language classes, engage in cultural activities, and interact with local communities, to increase the mutual understanding between the two countries.

For approximately four decades, education cooperation and student exchanges have been one of the bedrock elements within the Sino-U.S. bilateral relationship. The movement of students and scholars in both directions across the Pacific has proven to be a powerful enabler to deepen and expand cross cultural understanding within U.S.-China relations.

CEAIE hosted Zhi-Xing China: Shanghai Discovery from January 27th to 29th which invited American and Chinese students to Shanghai for a three-day field trip of substantive themed site visits interspersed with discussions and group activities.
